Yeah, in OoT and before Rupees meant nothing. I had 500 most of the time.

Majora's Mask you needed them to get a Piece of Heart (5000 in your account)

Windwaker you needed them to identify charts, and Tingle wasn't doing them for free , at weird ridiculous prices.

Once you get the heart piece and the magic armor you dont need ruppees for anything other than fueling the magic armor. Oh, and repair a certain cannon..

._. I don't think there's a left handed mode, and it can't detect and switch....sad for people who are left-handed, like me.....then again, it's not like I've ever had to actively wield a sword with either hand, have you?? The GCN version features the typical left-handed Link.
