i think i joined this site in high school maybe. then i went to college? i think i dropped out. its been a total ****ing blur. every time i buy cigarettes or booze they ask me how old i am and i have to think about it for a bit. it doesnt inspire confidence. plus the nys drivers license just inherently looks fake. i remember one time in alabama maybe the lady at the liquor store looks at my drivers license and then goes "you're from new york city?" and i was like, "no, i live in new york state" and she asks me what i meant. turned out she had never even heard of new york state. she thought new york city was like the 50th state i guess. anyway **** alabama. i forget what this thread was about.

Got an email for a thread I was subscribed to YEARS ago. It got bumped last night. For the record, I lurked in late 02 and joined in Jan 03.

Oh man, this forum brings back so many memories. I was so brutally awkward IRL, my social skills were non-existent, and to top it all off was on the verge of being obese back when I was posting back on these forums, but I wouldn't take those days back at all. You guys took me in and treated me as an "equal". Didn't look down on me like I've been treated all my life in school, we were all pretty much family.

I remember learning so many things, and making so many friends here, I don't know where to start. Threads here were absolutely revolutionary. Who can forget the Asylum post where ghettorapmasta claimed he jerked it 26 times in one day when his parents were out? Or when we "started a war" with Blizzforums? LOL. Good times.

I tried getting back into the groove of posting on here last year when I got one of those subscribed thread emails, but school kept me busy. I have a huge Bio final on Wednesday, but that's not gonna stop me from re-living my past and looking back at everything.

I'm sure plenty has changed, and there were probably many admin changes/layout makeovers, but dang. I hope these forums meant as much to you as they did to me.
