I guess I was 15 when I joined here, now 23. But eh, I own my home and have a great paying job so I can't complain. I live with my fiance, our cats, rats, and a potbelly pig named Bacon. My life is pretty awesome.

Must suck to feel old, I'm still not feeling it.

lol no, I got a scholarship a while back that I threw away. Went to school for C++ and networking and dropped out of that. Now I want to take networking again and they don't have the course here anymore.

I'm self studying for the CCNA which is the best I can do so far and it's really hard I wish I was in a classroom.


Still for some reason have a crush on a girl from high school. She just had all the exact same interests.

I believe I was 19 or 20 when I joined. I'm going to be 28 in Dec.
I went from living with my grandparents, being talked down to all the time about

• the way I dress (I've been goth since I was a kid and they are Christians who refuse to accept
  or even understand anything outside their own ways),

• the food I ate (I was a vegetarian and they ate meat, still do, but I'm no longer a vegetarian),

• my friends (I've always had more guy friends than female friends. Females may mature sooner,
  or so people say, but they are shallow as hell). For some reason my grandparents assumed
  that I f**ked every guy I knew because I'm female, but no. Nothing more than friends.

• lack of belief in the Christian God (Hey, I tried! Some of us cannot substitute imaginary friends
  for the real thing though.) I may have tried a little too hard because I may have actually had
  myself convinced at one time that the Christian God was real. BUT in having experienced this
  whole thing I see how effective brainwashing can be and I plan to never let that happen again.
  I do believe in spirits and that there's more to life than what we can see but I choose my own
  path - never again will it be forced upon me. Needless to say, we don't talk much.

So, went from all that to moving into my own place. Before I moved out I had a boyfriend,
his name is Jaylin. We dated for 6-7 months and went through a lot of things together -
including a hurricane and my grandparents... because he's black. Ok so they hate black
people, do they hate me as well because I'm Cherokee (Native American on my mother's
side and Italian/English blood on my dad's side) or no because I'm also white? Who's to
know. You'd think they had met him and had a bad first impression but no, they never
even saw his face because he was never allowed in their house lol. But I guess they were
right in the end because even though they didn't know him they were right about him
hurting me. Turns out he was married and had other girlfriends, probably lots. But I
think they were more afraid of him robbing their house than breaking my heart lol.

I met a goth guy where I worked named Jim. We saw each other every day at the smoke
area. One day I invited him to come over to my apparentment, he shows up with one red
eye and one blue eye, fishnet shirt, knee-high strap boots, pants with chains and arm warmers
(so hot!) and soon after we were spending every chance we got together even though we
weren't dating. We are like-minded and into the same things and enjoy each others' company.
We'd have breaks and lunch together, when we got off work we'd go pick up a movie from
blockbuster and something to eat and we'd go back to my place and watch movies til late
and he'd spend the night (no nothing happened because we were friends lol). About a month
or so after having met him I got a note on my door that I was being evicted. My first roommate,
the one I moved into this place with had stolen the rent money. I had already kicked her out
though, before I even realised she had stolen a month's rent so I couldn't kick her ass.

Jim's parents let me move in with them. Yes he still lived with his parents - I would have
been living with my grandparents still if I wouldn't have found someone else to move in
with, plus.. he's younger than me lol. Only a couple years though. After I move in he
asks me to be his girlfriend and I say yes. Two happy goths, yay yay lol. We're sharing
his room and yes things happen lol. We find a place that is for sale and move in with a
friend of his that also works where we work. Friend moves out after a while - I probably
drove him out with my neat 'n tidiness naggings lol. So, just Jim and me, at work 9 hours
a day together, at home the rest of the day together... I'm pregnant. I was happy to tell
Jim's mother and scared to tell mine because she's Christian also and we weren't married.
We got married (yay benefits) but still have not had an actual wedding ceremony.
For our anneversary one year we will have our wedding.

I quit my job to stay home with our daughter. We have another baby. Now we have two
babybats. One girl, one boy. Next year we will have been married 5 years and our daughter
will be starting school. I'm excited for her because she's not shy and loves being around
people but I'm nervous for her also because there's probably going to be someone she's
not going to get along with and I'm not sure how she will react.

Sorry for this being so long but this is only a summary of things that have changed since
my first post here. I bet most won't even read it but luckily it took me more time to proof
it than to write it. Ok picture time...​
