Yes, absolutely correct. I actually think that WSAD is pretty much good for EVERYTHING. You have access to a ton of keys over there, that just aren't there with the stupid arrow keys.

Personally, I prefer ESDF, which is a modified version of WSAD. It allows you even MORE keys to access around your left hand. This is perfect for games that have zoom, grenade and chat buttons. Wanna chat really fast? Hit the button and move your right hand down to the other side of the keyboard and you are set.

With that setup you don't even have to move your left hand to type.
