I'm about done with Act 1. It's really fun. If the rest of the game is as good as Act 1 then it's 10/10 and prob in my top 3 gamez evar.

MGS4 sucks. It like Kojima just wanted to slap MGS fans in the face with his penis just because he could. Spend a few hours playing this game and you might get 30 minutes of actual gameplay. Not only are the cutscenes way to fucking long but the dialog is horrible.

That's weird because I got 3 hours of game play out of 4.5 hours of play in Act 1 (This is even counting Act 2 briefing). Even if there was only 3 hours of gameplay each act, which there likely isn't, even so that would be 15 hours. This is longer than most next gens and all those repetetive FPS that are being shit out all over PC/360 and some on PS3. It's also unlike all the other MGS. Snake Eater had less gameplay and so did MGS1 and 2.

some people cant get into the game. when they do they dont notice/care about the cut scenes. basically how i felt about the beginnings of both MGS1 and 2.

I didn't play much yesterday. I did complete Act 2 though. The Laughing Octopus fight is really fun and I'm an expert tracker. What sucks is I had to use my first and only recovery item so far at the end of Act 2. You get to a point where this fucking Gekko lands and you can't kill it. It's right at the end of the zone and their kicks take like half your health. You pretty much have to take the hit. Shitsucked.
