What I find funny is that Americans can only make fun of FOOTBALL.

Europe has Euro 2004
South America has Copa America
Asia has the Asia Cup
Africa has the African Cup

We invent a cool sport and popularise it. The Americans steal it, change its name and relegate it to a minor sport. They then make their own version of that sport.
