What Saddam did with the oil fields was not in any way terrorism. It was purely a war strategy.

So you see, Bush's refusal of fulfilling the Kyoto treaty is another example of environmental terrorism? :p

It hasn't been used very much because all religions have some sort of respect for the land their god created. So I doubt muslims will use it. But one never knows.

well, as the name suggests it has to include terror in it. this can be debated because japan can be shitting their pants thinking about when they are going to drown but i wouldnt consider that terrorism.

and your forgetting that the muslim extremists also went against the word of allah when they murdered thousands of people. i can pretty much guarantee that environmental terrorism is far worse than guerilla tactics or any gay terrorist tactics

No they weren't. They were all infidels. According to their religions, infidels are not people, they don't deserve to live.

With all of the world's problems stretching from global terrorism to global warming, from all out wars to proxy wars, from the earth reaching its' carrying capacity to whatever else crosses your mind, do you think that we are going to be reaching the 22nd century as a race? Our technology to some is destroying our environment though it is undeniable that technology is increasing the ability of small groups to kill masses, something that is going to get even worse with the technologies that will be invented.
Of course we will but your questions are not uncommon in history. Every time a new century rolls around people are wondering if the human race will survive for much longer since the world is ever changing and one crisis always follows another its always been like that with the human race. Its very easy to stay negative and neglect the positive side in fact its a bit of a human nature to be pessimistic its been proven that for most people it takes meditation to change their brain chemistry in such a way that suppresses negative emotions and reinforces positive ones resulting in optimism but thats beyond the point. Sure we make more ways to kill ourselves but we also makes ways to prolong our lives, to make them more enjoyable. Simple example, compare the average healthy living age of now and a hundred years before you will find a great increase and with new technologies becoming available that will only escalate. I'm talking nano-technologies that allow people to live a hundred and still be fully mobile and healthy, I'm talking better medicines to treat larger numbers of disease. Yes its true technology has a much more deadly side, but its a two edged sword, one edge kills, the other makes life longer and more enjoyable. In addition to all of that advance in technology increases human kinds ability to face any threat to its survival.
