oh this reminds me, once i saw on trade channel "40x vex each for 1 290" back when it was worth 2. i asked him why he was selling 40 of them and y so cheap. his response was that he's a seller. im assuming he buys the vex for x amount and trades them for 290's then sells the 290s for more than x....what a smart man

anyways I prolly wont do it again I enjoy scamming people for my stuff way too much.
so your saying that buying items is okay? wow, you really need to get a girlfriend.

Buying items IS ok. So is buying crack, or buying a $1 bill for $10. Because the money belongs to its owner, and they can spend that money however they damned well please.
agreed. but it doesn't explain the reason for y ebayers, or should i say "buyer" get flamed

No, I haven't. Wanted to? Yeah, of course. So much easier. But i've become mildly godlike on my own. Working your way up proves to be a challenge. (Still aiming for CTA, exile)

To make my d2 experience more enjoyable. As my previous post states, peoples money is people's money, everyone has different ideas of whats worth their money and what isnt. I, at the time, thought D2 items was the best way to spend my money. To answer your question more directly, no, I'm not ****ing retarded.

Meh, I can see the enjoyment of the game, but come on. Spending money on a game seems a little silly to most of us. You paid for the game, and then you spend money on it even though it isn't a MMO?

Opinionwise, I think, and always will think that buying items off of Ebay to fulfill my D2 experience is a joke. I would rather be playing with friends and losing then spending money on items that won't mean anything in the end. :D

You brought up another interesting point Kao, MMORPGs. People pay for those monthly, but to a good amount of people, that's a waste. I, personally, don't believe monthly fees are absolutely necesary in most cases. D2 has been running free online for how many years now? As have SC, D1, and WC3.

I know you'll bring up the argument that MMORPGs are being updated constantly, but so have those games. Just 8 or 9 months ago, a new patch was released for SC, a game several years old. D2 was patched fairly recently too. As was WC3, which isn't quite so old, but not exactly new.

and how does it make you feel after you've bought an item of ebay??? i and a friend called pumpkinhead wanted to buy some vexrunes but soon realised what a complete waste of money that is when you can just scam people... aint that right PumpkinHead?
D2 items are just virtual graphics that contains few codes. I'm not saying that worth nothing but it is just so pathetic to spend your money on that IMO. I'd rather try to get the items by trading, MF'ing or Scamming :p

ive almost bought something, but i didnt. and the reason i dont is because it really pisses me off when i nsee poeple who just bought lke uber godly shizz and have been playing for a week, and are godlier then godly. THAT makes me very mad. unless there total nnoobs and trade you an ebotd zerker for a bonesnap because they can use it..oh thats awesome.

To be completly honest, I almost bought a enigma, exile, and doom off of ebay, because I hated getting own in pvp by everyone with godly gear. Then I entered a room where someone dropped all their gear due to them leaving diablo. I got alot of good uniques, which in turn I traded for other items. I ended up with godly on my own threw MF, but I do owe thanks to that person for giving away their stuff. So no I have never got items off of ebay, but it came really close.
