I am just wondering if theres any big time players?

Around here locally and State wide theres too many. I am like rank 14 in state. Most my friends from around here are rank 8 and above. (North Carolina)

So yeah. Just wondering if theres any hardcore players in NC or anywhere to be exact.

If I needed to play in a tourney like that, I would be either Falco, Mario, Yoshi or Pikachu.

My line up is in my profile. And yes you havnt seen good Ice Climbers till you played Munkey's. He WD/Combo Throws. I Combo Throw/Smash. He only owns me from the WDing .

When I play in big tournaments I usually go fox or falco. Depending on the mood I am in. Either that or jigglypuff. You would be surprised at how effective jigglypuff can be in this game.

Dodge attack effectively. Pound/Fly to get back into the arena. And use sleep correctly

Jiggy effin rapes Fox hands down. I dont think IC really has a counter player that can literally mean IC will lose to. IC are like godly when played right. All I can say is Zelda is sorta a problem. Wavedash is important against Falco and the other fast chars (I dont use it but I can still made due and beat the shit out of my opponet) Only thing bad about fast chars they can kill Nana very easily. So try not to dsync them much during a battle with Shiek, Falco, Fox, or Marth.

Link's weakness is every char faster than him period, I found some ways around some chars but not all.

I just recently found out I can rape with Samus so I am still getting Combos down. Sofar I havn't have much problem with any class but Falco.

Well, all the chars lower tier than Link are eaten alive by him, trust me. Only one he may have problems with is Dr. Mario or Ice Climbers.

Dr. Mario is almost the same as Mario. Mario was one of my favorite N64 Fighters, next to Pikachu and DK

Sorry, but Fox/link would pwn j00 so hard, i used to be like god in my area around here, both on SSB1 & 2 :frustrate

Kid Link is often fun to play as. Beat your opponents with a tiny dagger weapon.

Fox pwn me? Yeah I met a good bit of foxes. I beat 50% of all the foxes I have played. Now with Links, it depends on how you play wiether or not who will win. I play a defensive style Link (good for fast characters). If you play a Bomb/Boomer combo Link, you will have fun against me trying to hit me. Offensive Links are what I have problems with. Most people use a Bomb/Boomer since its good against about most chars.

To Hell:
Kid Link has awesome projectiles which is good for a defensive stance char, but kid link isnt agil enough to be defensive. So just make sure you arn't messing around and watch what you do and play alot of mind games since his attack radius is short.


PS to whoever commented: Dr. Mario is way better than Mario. I never seen Mario played in a tourny. Its always Dr. Mario. Because you can get more combos with Dr. Mario.

Best local player here is Brandon Adams (Shiek). Hes 4th in state. I never met the top 3. They all live in Raliegh. The Dallas Crew has a few in the top 10. Other locals that are ranked high are Sober (6-7? (Falco/Zelda/Dr. Mario)) Munkey (8 (Peach/Marth) and $ Store Derrick (12 (Samus/Falcon)). The whole Dallas crew except Jeenx is above me.

Oh well. Yeah. NC = Smash Kingdom on East Coast.

Heh, I've never seen 'em. Where do they usually hold the tournaments?

Most are in Dallas/Gastiona/Charlotte area. Theres prob alot more around the Raliegh/Durham area. I know the top 3 in State are from Durham I believe.

I slaughtered my friend in 1v1 no item combat. He was fox and I was Mario and we had roughly equal fighting skill. It was too easy considering, all you really need to do sometimes is be a cheapass and press B like 100 times.

Mario beating Fox is... not possible against a good player.... Dr. Mario vs Fox maybe.
