Why Critical Strike?
Critical strike is a chance od doubling your damage. After 10 points the returns start to deminish to 2 and 1 percents. I suggest leaving it at 10 and letting other %Deadly Strike items and +Skill items to add more.

Boots:
Gore Rider: These boots have it all. Crushing Blow, Open Wounds, and Deadly strike. These are a must for any Bowazon.

Amulet:
Highlords Wrath: +1 Skills and IAS. Very Nice.
From Arreat Summit:

Deadly Strike
This is a chance of doing double damage. This bonus is applied after skills such as Critical Strike and any other damage bonuses. Critical Strike (CS) and Deadly Strike (DS) exclude each other.

If you have a 33% Deadly Strike item, and 68% Critical Strike Skill the complete chance to get double damage is:

=CS + (DS/100)*(100-CS)
=68% + (33/100)*32%
=68% + 10.56%
=78.56%

Crushing Blow
This is a chance of reducing a monster's health by X% in a single blow.

-with missile weapons, default: 1/8th
-with missile weapons, vs Champions, Uniques, Bosses: 1/16th

Because of this, i wouldn't go for Deadly Strike items on amazons, and only get CB if the item that gives it has some more useful mods too.

So, as alternative to Highlords i'd suggest The Cat's Eye: 30 FRW, 20 IAS and 25 Dexterity make it very useful, and the extra defense (100, 200 vs missiles, and 8 from the Dex) helps too.

Goreriders are good boots, but CB and DS don't help Bowazons alot and Open Wounds really doesn't do that much damage in PVM. I'd rather use either boots that give AR/Dex like Sander's Riprap (40 FRW, 100 AR, 10 Dex, 5 Str) or Shadow Dancer (30 FRW, 30 FHR, 15-25 Dex). Another cool option are the boots from the IK set. On their own they just give 40 FRW, 100 AR and 44 life, but with IK's gloves (20 Str, 20 Dex) you also get 25 IAS.

On gloves, yes good bowskill/IAS gloves are hard to beat but think of the above, Cleglaw's gloves (knockback, slows by 25%) or Laying of Hands. These gloves from the Disciple set give 20 IAS, 50 fire resistance and 350% damage vs. demons which is awesome and helps alot against Baal. When you run Baal, you want Hwanin's belt at least ready to be switched with your normal belt for one salve. Just one hit and Baal is prevented from healing further (helps alot). An alternative is having a fast melee weapon with Malice (Ith El Eth) socketed or anything else with Prevent Monster Heal.

While i'm bitching, i must say you should really consider equipment for Non-Ladder chars if you want to make a guide. It's much the same, except that you want Eaglehorn, Windforce or Buriza-Do Kyanon as weapon and a 160 ED/60 IAS armour.

Oh, and the Might merc might be better as it helps with the low damage the Bowazon does and you want to keep your distance (and you probably knockback too). Plus, alot of people prefer to go with a tanking Valkyrie (20 Valkyrie, 20 Penetrate, 1-3 dodging skills, 7 Critical strike/Pierce, rest in Decoy), no points in freezing/cold arrows and some way to get Amplify Damage on striking instead as it removes physical immunity. For this, use Witchwild String (2%), Atma's Scarab amulet (5%) or any bow that gets it as modifier (5%, i have one that gives +2 ama skills too :D). And Buriza has cold damage and Freezes +3 standard...

Oh, and don't listen to me i'm a clueless noob and this is my first post.
