And those need sections for many reasons.



2 reasons he can't

1) Shared his password which caused a really bad mass merge/deletion spree, thus can't be trusted again.

2) Slots full

We are a blizzard gaming forum, nobody is going to post if we have one section for diablo. We need to make it into multiple more specific sections..

Basically i think it should be like Diablo, diablo hacks, diablo strategies and d3. Then SC, SC hacks, SC2, Wc, wc hacks, Wow(support wow hacks)

Asking people in a "trolling" way: "Why the fuck is my CT not showing" like you were a desperate lunatic IS considered a "bullshit topic". I told you that I was able to see your CT, the only thing was you must have either 1) IE didn't pick it up, 2) Imageshack was down. You didn't have to make a thread about it, and if you did - you should have asked in a calm and effective manner saying something like:

i have a problem can someone tell me if they can see my ct for some reason i cannot see it and its either because imageshack is down or maybe it is the settings on my ie that are causing it to not appear

Then, people would have probably replied and Renzo wouldn't have bashed you for a harmless warning.

I only removed the first one because it made some sense, and had a point.

Honestly, the way you type is often the cause that got you in trouble many times. So think about what and how you are writing before you hit that Submit button.

We have that now though...

We are also not really a Blizzard Gaming forum anymore. It was pretty much decided over the years via adding new sections and shit. Because we feared that Blizzard wasn't getting that popular anymore. Now I think the reason we are called "Battle"forums is because we actually fight amongst each other and act like a soap opera each and every day.

And I only wanted to mass-merge the Console Gaming section.

And besides, about half of the Blizzard stuff can be merged into "one". Like General Discussion and Strategies can become one. UMS needs a seperate section. And Replays can either join the merge, or stay itself. Maybe I should have explained THAT part better.

The reason Introductions is at the top and announcements are at the bottom is because if you think about it logically, that's exactly how it should work. Guests visiting BF for the first time could care less about the announcements - the first thing we want them to do after they register, is introduce themselves. The announcements are at the bottom so regular members know exactly where to look.

New users couldn't care less. Not could care less. Not that hard to understand why saying 'could care less' when speaking about something that they don't care about makes people sound like idiots. And it's not just you, theres dozens of times I've seen people do it on this site.

Also, the whole design and layout is godaweful in it's current state. Whoever took over as project manager needs some serious headwork if they think have it look like this is so good. It was FINE how it was before you guys started messing with it, because theres a half inch bufferzone on both the top and bottom of the forum name under the 40 main forums we have now. There's sub forums for a reason, and when you had the Diablo / SC / WC sections all lumped into 1 general "Blizzard Games" section, it looked infinitely times better than it does now.

I could argue that. Forum Introductions do come first, yes. But you can put site news after that and start the real discussions like other boards and shit.

Because site news should take precendence over everything when it comes to existing members.

I don't understand why they can't be in the same section. They both could fall under "General," and News/Announcements could be at the very top with Introductions under it. Problem solved, crisis averted.

I don't think it really matters. But often news/announcemnts should be somewhere near the top, before all the real discussion threads.
