posers.

qft.

There's a reason theres not very many adult goths because most people like to look nice. I mean, it's cool if you really like wearing stuff like that but it sounds like you're just trying to fit in.

@d2hacker88; I really like those boots! I actually have some boots similar to
those. I wear them every time I leave the house and I get compliments. :)
I have heard some of the music from those bands but I listen to symphonic
metal more than anything. My husband likes those bands though, if it's any
consolation. Don't let these ignoramuses discourage you. Continue being
yourself and doing what you like. They're just more people telling you how
to think and what to do. Boy, must be cramped living in such a tiny box, eh?
It's not like you came here to brag about it like they brag about their own
incredibly mundane lives, experiences, and expectations.
Oh, you should check this out. I thought it was really cute. :-D

@Forged; Goth may be nothing more than a phase or a trend for some
but for most it's more of an outlook on life mixed with a darker sense
of humour. Goth is a subculture inspired by Gothic architecture, literature
and music and the romantic style of the renaissance/Victorian era. It's not
just going to go away. Well, no sooner than the likes of the morons on
these forums. :)

@Jenny; There are more adult Goths than there are teenagers. I think you're
confusing Goth with Emo. And how exactly is he just trying to fit in when being
himself he knows he's going to get stereotypical and ignorant comments?
You'd think he'd dress like a frat boy if he wanted to just fit in. "Who cares
about Germany and his music?" My husband and I would both love to visit
there some day and we'd be dressed up, fittin in very well, I'm sure, and
we'd have a great time. You know, I remember you posting a while back about
your silly little twit girlband - what was the name? Oh yes, T.A.T.U. I honestly
can't believe you see them as something to be inspired by. And Emo? omg please.
Calling people posers.. Well what are you trying to be? And are you in middle-school?
You are such a shallow little sheep, aren't you? Perhaps a bit TOO eager to
follow the flock. Try being just a tad open-minded some time.
You can even call it Opposite Day! :-D

Oh, you're right. That was someone else.
Silly me for getting you two mixed up.
One's in love with T.A.T.U. and the other is in love with Madonna.
