Rich gear This is a guilde for the rich, medium wealth, and the poor..Smiters can usually own uber tristram ( A.K.A Chaos Tristram) from 2-8minits if used right. They also do very well in PvP / PK

Terms

LW - last wish runeword

Dungoes - Verdungo's hearty cord

MEPH - mephesto
DR - damage reduced

LT - life tap

the gear i use is the BEST for ubers, but will work for pvp too.

Gear

Gear for the Rich

Armor - Eth bugged CoH ( perferably in arch ) - i used this bcuz it has very big big defence, and +2 skill u gotta love that, but the best thing is that it has res. UBER MEPH has a very high lvl convition aura so u tend to loose res, then he blasts high psn at you. so the res is a must

Helm- 2 soc ber/bered CoA - i use shako bcuz i dont have lots of life, but this is the best helm for ubers/ pvp/ pk. it has DR witch u can always use. the best part is the RES, again for the meph reason. also u got faster hit recovery witch is always good when those mobs of monsters attack you.

amulet - perfect maras- i liked this bcuz RES, and +2 skill, and its even got +5 to all stats. perfect ammy if you ask me

weapon - Last Wish - i no most of you guys are like * WTF NO* but hear me out. it has fade = RES.. life tap = no pots in ubers..charged bolt ( lvl20 % on hit ) = easy to take out the minions. it even has enhanced damage + prevent monster heal. AND MAGIC FIND..i think this is a very good uber killer, and dont forget the might aura for the extra boost of damage.

sheild = eth vortex exile = BIG smite dmg, and the life tap is just great..it also has RES : :dance , defiance aura when equipped, +2 to offensive auras, and some even have enhanced damage. if u like to see people frozen then u also have freezes target.

gloves = PERFECT DRACS - LIFE TAP and + to str...

Ring 1- perfect raven frost..dex, AR, cannot be frozen perfect mods

belt - PERFECT dungoe's - + 40 TO LIFE , and DR

ring 2 - raven spiral or another perfect raven frost kinda both the same

boots - imps + light res, and str..


Gear for the middle class

[B]WARNING THIS ITEMS MAY BE THE SAME BUT THE MODS WILL BE DIFFERENT BCUZ THEY ARE NOT PERFECT..BUT NEITHER THE LESS WILL WORK JUST FINE [/B] the items on the medium list arent different just lower, and being lower = cheaper.

Armor- eny CoH - same reasons, cept less defence
Helm - 1soc CoA bered - same reasons
Ammulet - Mara's - lol same reasons

Weapon - ebotd zerk / phase blade - you got enhanced damage, witch is always good, + 30 to all stats ( VERY GOOD TO HAVE ). wow +60 IAS, this is a super mod to have.

Sheild - HoZ ( eth zoded if possible )- u got +to skills, and pretti high smite damage. not a bad sheild to use

ring 1 - raven frost - same reasons

gloves- low dracs - same reasons -

belt- low dungoe's - same reasons

ring 2- raven frost / raven spiral - same reasons

War Traves- MF, and u also got + vit and +str witch is useful

Gear for the Poor

Armor - Skullders - MF, and pretti high defence

Helm - Shako- + mega life and mana, +2 to skills, put a 40/15ias jewel in it for better dmg, attack speep

Amulet - high lords, +1 to skills, and IAS

Weapon - enything with at least +2to skills and sume enhanced dmg ( hoto works well )

sheild - storm sheild- SS has some pretti good mods, DR, STR, RES, and it has farly big smite dmg

ring 1- BK- life

Ring 2- BK also - life

gloves - enything with +dex / STR

Belt - dungoe's - eben if its perfectly low it still works

boots - low travs - ur able to get these for free,


Skills

smiter = max it , this is ur main attack

Holy sheild - max it , this add mega defence, and some how enchants ur sheild to add TUNS OF SMITE DMG

Fantism - this adds IAS, AR, and dmg

Defiance = extra boost for holy sheild

Zeal - try to put at least 10-20 in to zeal, i no it seems dumb, but its funny to go smite someone run into town change to zeal and go and whoop the guy with zeal, yes i no that the extras for zeal arent maxed but zeal isent ur main attack so it doesnt matter...


Hints for killing ubers- first u wanna just run around try to get the 3split up, then u tackle one by one and watch them fall on their asses. :hbut



i no u guys are problly thinking ima idiot bcuz of all the life taps i got but think about this u got 1life left , and if u dont life tap that hit U DIE, well u got 4items giving u the chance to life tap well the chance is ull life tap better then with only 1item giving it..you will have a higher % to life tap

I think this is going to be a great guide, except that there are several needed abbreviations that aren't there that should be there. Mephisto= Meph, not Mef.

I would use grief over lw. You already have lifetap from drac..grief hits every time and casts venom. and if you're good enough already you don't need the resist from fade.

He uses Last Wish for the Crushing Blow (and a lot of it too: 60-70%), which helps a lot when fighting the ubers :-/

I would use grief instead of last wish (Hidden damage ).

Need crushing blow? Go to "the source". Equip a "Guillaume's Face". (Wouldn't hurt to Um it) 35% crushing blow.
Need more? No problem.

Boots: Why are you using that garbage? Equip gore riders. Crushing blow. 15% of it. Or if you're desperate use goblin toe (25%).

Rings: One perfect raven frost, one nature's peace. Jeez, you don't need TWO. And Nature's peace keeps things dead, and has PMH.

Amulet: Good choice.

Might as well add in anni and gheeds.

For a pure pvm smiter I would max defiance instead of zeal. It would add quite a bit more defense, which when combined with hs and exile's defiance aura would be insane.

+300% defense. That should do for now.

9p combats/ pally hellfire / anni/..what ever spaces are left fill em with +20 life scs try to have res on them too

and no i dont belive grief has hiden dmg ..grief is ONLY godly when in PVP...LW is best for uber..if u dont agree thats ok its ur apinion

bleh NONE of you have even put a thought into slapping on a stormlash...BEST WEAPON FOR TRIST hands fking down. if you dont know wut a stormlash is...then im sorry your missing out. i hate to be a crowd runner and have what everyone else has>< same with grief>< and LW>< they are so bleh. howbout this pplz. stormlash/Bug tals/phoenix in a pally shield ed or res (res prolly a better idea) Tgods/coa/natures n raven/gores rock but spurs work also/ dracs are very good i agree but wut bout rends or some nice crafted ias/cb/dex/str/life/res gloves?! IF you get low on life well then just trhough in a zeal now and then if your tap isnt keeping up. just a thought. stormlash all the way

Here is my setup for uber tris. I do solo uber in less then 5 minute. Any grief, FORT, SHAKO, 120 RES 4 SOCKET KURAST, high lord, MARROWWALK, nos coil, Raven and a 18 str/ 16 dex/ 15 all resist ring, and cta. Once you enter use cta, then for left click set up 4 charge and right click set 4 life trap from MARROWALK. Run to the left hand side and down stand there and meph will come out. TRAP him and charge. Then switch to smite/fan = owned. do same for diablo and baal. Here is the order you should do MEPH->BAAL->DIABLO. O ya with meph conviction on your resist should be around 50fr/85cr/80lr remeber to use a thrawling potion 4 charge meph.
