The new album is totally different i was talking about the old stuff. Slipknot changed alot in the new album.. too much for my taste. And I think Kittie's sexiest, "women will STAND OUT to be stronger statement" is overused and thats mostly what all their songs talk about. I mean i can i listen a couple of their songs without puking all over myself but thats all. I was just talking about kittie because your avatar reminded me of them. Nothing person i just dont really like them.

LOL, their lyrics are nothing like that at all. Spit was...the album they hate...other than that...the lyrics are great. Check out the new lyrics, and oracle...nothing to do with "woman will stand out" haha..

Slipknot has changed, I haven't ever heard Kittie. Maybe I should listen to them. I'll think about it.

Every song i've heard by them was like that, but then again i guess i havent heard that many songs. As i recall Brakish was alot about that too. I havent listened to them since middle school so they might have changed i guess.

Yeah that's on Spit. They wish that they never made that album, and I see why. It really gave them a bad reputation, and it's very hard for them to be considered real metal now, by metal fans, because everyone remembers that album. ALL of the songs on Spit were like that..like "do you think I'm a whore?" and "brackish". I agree with you on that.

Like I said, I didn't like them back then much, because they were way nu-metal..and the lyrics sucked bad . They've totally changed though..and they consider this album a fresh new start. I love the lyrics on Oracle, and especially the new album They put allot of thought and time into them, and they are quite clever. They ARE actually like a whole new band, and that's what they're trying to do. Only two of the members are original ones now, and the sound and lyric writing are totally different and have matured. They've definitely gone through ALLOT of change...and are no longer the same band.

Enough about that though...this is about teh slipknot.

Are slipknot breaking up after this album? Haven't they said that they were..like several times before?

Yea but now they dont really have any real good fans left. And their reputations suck. I would be glad if they ended it right here, before they totally **** up even more. Which i dont really think is possible anymore after this shitty album.

If you take any lyrics from the "insert metal genre" here seriously, you need to have your head checked. Yes, this remark is directed at you Roach. I love when people like things for a while, and then do a complete 180 and hate them because it's not cool, or whatever.

I was never a huge fan of them to begin with, I liked their first cd, for a short time, but I grew out of them. I'm sorry but they ****ing suck, IMO. Lyrics are a big part of why I like the bands I do. If the band has shitty lyrics, and the music isn't that great or is bad, chances are I won't like them.

Why would I stop liking a band because it's cool? If you haven't noticed, I still like korn. I would definitely say it's cool about now to stop liking them . Opinions change, and so do personal preferences. I use to be a fan of rap, and now I can't stand it. Does that mean I ditched rap because it was cool to do so? No.

I iwill too. If RoD hates Metallica, I need to see why he likes Kittie. A personal opinion yes, but I am curious now, and will check it out later.




On topic, I don't like Slipknot. If I want a headache I listen to them. If I want to piss my neighbors off with useless screaming, I put Slipknot on. besides that, I don't like them.

I found it funny because i still love Korn. People say they also suck but i love them. I think they were the first band in the rock genre i really liked. I bought their cd in 6th grade and with that changed my whole life.

Wow, you all suck...If you like slipknot, then you wouldnt say their best song is Wait and Bleed or Duality. Because, in reality, both of those blow some major ass.
