i have a good job, just i spend my money on other things that seem more important but right now i feel like i need a board, so im getting one!

I had a Zero for my first deck, but I also enjoyed the enjoi decks... Darkstar is killer sturdy for beginner learners, I had mine for almost a year of straight skating. It had a crack down the middle ply, It was large, and it lasted another 5 months before I just cracked it on purpose to get a new one...

All boards are the same unless you're buying one from walmart. Buy a cheap one, and whatever you do don't but one because you like whats on the bottom. I have an enjoi and i enjoy it.

i don't know in which country you live, but i germany we got some decks called "Minilogos". they are built by companys like Alien Workshop, Powell, Shorty's, Zero and so on.
they don't have any picture on them, but they are of the same quality like normal decks and cost only the half.

Griptape: depends on what you want to have. the are no realy big diffences

Axes: I got Grindkings because they are best for grinding and ollieing. the new generation of grindkings doesn't weight much. i payed 25€ for 1 axe. If you like Nose and Tailslides you should buy Tensor cause they've got some kind of wax in the axefront. and if you like drinking beer while skating you sould buy KruX because they've got a beer-bottle-opener in them

Bearing: Buy bones^^ if you don't have enough money for them buy any other type of bearings. maybe you could ask if you could test the speed of them, that you don't buy crappy ones.

Wheels: Depends on what you want. Eigher hard or smooth wheels. I got something in the middle of that. they have a good grip on the street but you can't do a powerslide with them

Skating is out. Hardly anyone skates anymore, yet I see all these little fag's in my school running around with skateboards on their backpacks. I swear, I'm going to just rip one out, and bash someones face in with the trucks one of these days.

the difference is the quality of the wood and the way it's glued together. and the walmart board are much heavyer than for example a Alien Workshop deck. And the walmart decks are really flat. A good Deck has some sort of curves:

when you look from the red arrow at the board you see that's a bit bent. this is for doing tricks that flip the board. a walmart deck doesn't have this so you can't do hard fliptricks like the 360-Flip

Yes by trying hard you could do a 360 Flip with a walmartboard but... it would break

Wow im the total opposite of you. Buying a board from walmart is bad because there boards actually suck. The wheels suck, the trucks are like plastic and the bearings suck. The board will get water logged and its all over. Im not saying buy and expensive one just buy one that isnt bad but is still cheap.

your very wrong there, i noticed that in some brands they have better handling than others and better durability and some boards are easy to get off the ground and make for some better air
