Either way, you're going to have to go through school...thats if you want a high paying job. Right now, I'm basically done with HS (just got my final IB exams left...which are in a coupla weeks), and I WANT to do well, I WANT to go to university (northwestern uni), I WANT to get a high paying job and earn lotsa money.

Same with me. I really have no problem with school, it's just I hate mornings, and I have my own thoughts on what they should be teaching me. Alot of teachers don't like me because of my "revolutionary" ideas either.

Hm..

My social life is basically centered around school. That's where I can see my friends, talk to people, etc.

Also, I don't hate most of my classes. Biology... yeah, I don't love it. Pottery owns, despite my inability to complete a pot. German's boring, and the teacher just goes through the books. We never do anything else. She likes her Spanish classes more. English, the teacher's boring, the class is boring, but the people own. History, boring, annoying people except for a few... Latin, good. I like the class, the teacher's okay, and the people are fun to talk to. Algebra's okay as well, as it makes me happy when I can do the stuff. And... SciFi. The most of the people in the class are taking it for credits, not for love of the subject matter. Half of them are fine, the others can't be bothered to read a short book and an anthology. So it's... okay. A lot of essays to write, though.

...I doubt many people bothered to read that, so... Eh. School's fine, and it's the only way I'm going to be able to go to college...

Im at my school right now. It sucks...my teacher is talking but could careless that im on this cpu and not doing what the class is doing. If school started at like 10:00 and there was no work...well it'd be a lot better. Id rather drop out and be a nobody then get a wholesome education tho [/sarcasm]

I'm homeschooled (the kind where I do everything on my own without my parents) so I don't have to worry about mornings....But most of the stuff I'm taking I'm not going to use later in life (History, Spanish, World Lit, Biology). For the most part, school is just a blatant waste of my time.

I was home-schooled last year as well. I didn't really like it, but I don't like school either. The problem is my school sucks and is boring, so I don't pay attention, so I get bad grades. The only good part is that it wastes time.

school is crap. you go there to learn stuff you wont even use, you dont even use half the stuff they teach you in real life! its sad really.....if school was shorter for me i could make more money for college and future stuff. but i have to waste 7 or so hours at school! awsome!

Yeah, it's all over the internet. I've never met my teachers. My parents have nothing at all to do with my schooling, besides the fact that they're paying for it

Oh. So it's some sort of online private school or something...? I was just thinking. I can finish the actual work that I do in one school day in about an hour. If I were homeschooled working on my own I could screw off the majority of the day. This is one of the reason why I think that In/Out of School Suspension would kick complete ass.
