Why not just rename the entre Warcraft III section to "DotaCraft", then?

Because plenty of people play solo, and go into strats for solo. This section on the other hand, deals mainly with DOTA.

"DOTA (And other custom maps)" would be better suited.

I know people who play Warcraft III, and they seem to play nothing but DOTA. That's how I know.

It IS possible to talk to people on Warcraft III from one of the other games.

I always thought that games that let you play through life was fun. Like, this one where you build farms, houses, wife, husband, use them to create the "little kids", then they turn into adults, then you train them, blah blah.

Those are pretty neat, and they are probably only a lot better on Warcraft III thanks to the fact that it was given a proper editor.

Because not everybody plays DOTA. I for one rarely do. This game is custom and we already have enough new boards to deal with without having to get another guy modding the Dota thread. Besides, almost every dota topic in now in one area now.

Edit; whats so good about i? I don't think theres something that so good about it, other than the fact that it's the only game thats ever on custom list so what else are you supposed to do?

It is an RPG that many can enjoy, there are 80 heroes, 100s of different battle combinations and has custom spells/models. It has many things than any customer can enjoy.

But there must be other good maps out there! All I EVER heard about is this one in particular.

Dota, Footmen Frenzy, Zoator TD, Enfos, Battleships, Skibi's TD, Element TD, Green TD, Wintermaul, Angel Arena, Summoners, Ice Troll Tribes, 7 (insert hero type)...

the list goes on. You just need to be... willing.

What does "TD" stand for? The only possible thing I can think of is the name of a bank.
