Oh, I thought the thread creator was going to ask where babies come from.

I read a few responses.. stuff about spider sex and what not.. so I'll just be forthright and answer the thread creators question.

If having sex was painful, but we still had that strong will to procreate and pass on our seed, I think the pain would overrule the reproduction urge.

Something like that.

Sex does complicate things, and causes a lot of problems. Tons of people abuse it too. It ruins so many lives it isn't even funny....

Solution: Have sex when you are married and you can handle raising a kid.

Eh, I agree with jd-inflames. I think it would be better for sex to be painful because it's disturbing how casual it is these days. I doubt the world would be much worse off if our reproduction rate was a little lower and there were less STDs going around. Personally, I wouldn't mind if it were painful because I'm going to have to go through childbirth anyway, and it would just be a foretaste of the wonderful things to come >.>
