How would you explain it? a magical being created us out of thin air?
Not to mention this magical being has never been encountered, and when something bad happens the answer is conveniently "god works in mysterious ways."
Yeah, that's basically how religion works. You put faith in something you can't see or feel or directly experience in any way simply because when you look at the world around you, you see order in the chaos and miracles instead of synchronicity. Religion isn't about needing proof, it's about faith and understanding that some questions don't have answers.
"God works in mysterious ways," psh. People use that as an excuse. I think good things happen and bad things happen, and it's not necessarily God's work either way.
Anyway, I think maybe God has an "intended" purpose for me, and maybe he doesn't. My goal is just to find my own purpose, regardless of what anyone else thinks.
