this same problem happened to my comp all i did was reformat now fixed except im misssing ALOT of my stuff windows didnt install right for me now its all messed what i would do is if your parents offer u a new comp TAKE it i know i would

Uh, I doubt they would.

More or so likely is to put all your important music and songs onto a CD, then write down main programs that are on there right now, then reformat, because you'll need them right after. Takes time to reinstall all of those programs back on and all.

Get your windows Cd and boot disk, If you don't have a boot disk get a floppy, put it in and then make one. If you are on windows xp you don't need a boot disk because the whole thing uses the cd (Stupid weird windows xp). Anyways you'll have to boot up from the disk and format the drive C. THen reinstall windows with the CD. If you don't have a cd then... how did it get installed in the first place?
