well cradle of filth is my 2nd favorite too.. but yeah, i can't wait to get the cd..
Immortal = Best Black Metal

But I, personally, would have to at least Children of Bodom or CoF over Dimmu Borgir. But when it comes to black metal, the over-synth'd music generally isn't my taste. Too many of those bands out there.

i dont think children of bodom can be compared to CoF or Dimmu Borgir... they are cool and all but i dont think they are alike. CoB just dress like average joes when CoF and Dimmu borgir dress the gothic way and make gothic metal.

dimmu borgir is relatively new, they started in 94 but didnt start singing in english since there 2cd cd i think. i am not 100% on that one.

I think cradle of filth > dimmu borgir. you cant compeat with Dani's scream.

Is that really that hard?

Man people are lazy.

As far as comparing CoB to CoF, they both have a similar mainstream black metal sound (abrasive vocals, keyboards & samples). They fit right into the slot with Old Man's Child, Dimmu Borgir, ect. which I personally think is becoming a bit saturated.
