i can't believe u spoke to your teacher like that Forged.. thats really dodgy! i would be expelled.

however i do see your point and agree with you. You shouldn't be forced to but it is also a sign of maturity and respect to others if you do.. in that sense i think it is your responsibility to stand up. I lived in USA in Louisiana for 2 years when i was 9-11 and they made me say the pledge of allegiance.. even though im australian! that really pissed me off... they thought it was completely unreasonable for me NOT to pledge allegiance. so anyways we compromised and i just had to stand and not speak which is a small thing in the general scheme of life. you have to give and take.

How is Pledgeing my allegiance to a country I hate and disagree with show maturiry. Maybe when this countyr turns secular and gets a decent leader, but I am sure I will be long moved to France by then. Russian is no longer 3rd world as they are a democracy aren't they? I don't really pay that much attention to russian affairs so I do not know.

As to why I am right, most 1st world countries have nuclear weapons, if we start a nuclear war we would destroy the world. The U.S alone has enough nuclear weapons to destroy the world 15,000x....z

Well being a democracy doesnt make you a first world country, infact USSR was a first world country. Its the standard of living that decides what world country is the nation. We are a third world country and we got enough atomic, hydrogen and other tyoes of nukes to wipe out the world. We got 9000 i think. Besides you dont really need that many, 50 hydrogen bombs on the same square killometter and you jsut started a nuclear winter, which will eventually clear the earth from all life.

Well, I was just about to say that being a democratic country doesn't necessarily make you a 1st world country. I remember a quote from a famous russia (during the cold war) in response to a American saying "we have enough nukes to wipe out russia twice over" and the response was to the affect "we don't need to wipe America out twice we are quite happily wiping it out once" If what forged says is true then what is the point of being able to wipe the world out X times, why don't they salvage the nukes?

They wanna seem like they have power, also all that shit they say about having the most powerful army in the world. A question rises, who decided which army is more powerful then the other? THat cant be measured until those armies meet. The amount of money the army receives doesnt determine anything, we all know taht US throws money away useleesly, while other nations, try to save their capital and look for the best solution to put money in.

But I think that the level is due to the there type of leadership.

2nd world: Communism
3rd worldictatorship (i.e Hussein)
