Saturn was a shit system. Why ese do you think it failed?

Onlyyreason I never bought the damn system was cause the line up was total shit.
Reasons:
1. It had no real sonic game.
2. It had little third party support (no good games)
3. To many arcade ports.
4. Many good "games" never made it out of Japan.
5. Sega folded on the hardware.
6. 2 years after the system was released sega basicly dropped saturn support for Dreamcast.

Sega completely ****ed up with the Saturn. It was the only sega system I would never buy. The few good games on it was not enough to buy the system at the time. I do want it now, though I prefer to get a Master system over it if i can.

I'm going to get a new Genesis at some point. I've been looking into it a lot. Anyways, I'd honestly rather have a Genesis with 3 games of my choice than a Saturn with every game in the line-up.

I still want to find a good condition Saturn and get the Panzer Dragoon games, Gex, the few fighting games that were on it, and that 3d sonic game that i loved SO much. best sonic game ive played to date, IMO. I never realy tried to buy that many games for it, because i was too young to recognize good games, but it wasnt until years later that the Dreamcast came out.

Yeah, never really thought about Sega always being a step ahead of everyone else.

Saturn before Playstation
Gamegear before Gameboy
Dreamcast before any other bigname consol.

All sega really needs are Panzer and Sonic. I think the Dreamcast had a Starfox game on their, or 2, and put the starfox titles on Nintendo and Sega.

Wrong, what they -need- to do is whip Psuedo Interactive and get the Vectorman series started again.

No, not really. Gameboy was out 1989, Game gear was released in 1992. Playstation was released in 1994 and Saturn in 1995. Even the master system and came after the NES. Only thing Sega Genesis beat to market was Super nintendo, but was still after the Turbografix and Super nintendo destroyed genesis. Only thing sega ever had a true head start on was dreamcast, and that was at the cost of losing the consol battle and reverting to a third party developer.
