So basically what you are saying is that yes, a 64 bit processor will run 32 bit games but you will not see a difference in having a 32 bit or 64 bit cpu? This is why I choose the cheaper 32 bit route to get the same results as of now. If there isnt much supporting 64 bit, why bit it?

There is a difference, not because it is a 64-bit cpu, it is because of the power of the processor itself.

Notice the Athlon XPs on the bottom?

AMD overpowered the Athlon 64 for higher performance. They could do the same for the XPs, but AMD view the XPs as useless, obsolete cpus.

The only 32-bit cpus to compare to the Athlon 64 are the Pentium 4 w/HT, yet they are quite pricey.

So if you want performance way better than the Athlon XP but cheaper than the P4, the Athlon 64 is your answer, and probably the only one.

As i mentioned earlier, your setup is fine. Stick with the XP 3200+.
