Did you forget that he doesnt have admin permissions anymore?

LOL good one Vad. As a former athlete, I notied alot of guys playing football would pass all the time. Yet, they were dumber than a box of rocks.

little-cheeze you should become a journalist :D
At my high school, you needed 65% or higher to stay on a team. It was to prevent scenarios like that one from happening. And I do admit, it is a good idea to implement.

Then again, you do need intelligence when playing Football. You need to make the plays happen, decide where to run and how to defend your line from the opposing team (and preventing them from getting a touchdown in 4 downs).

That isn't a very good idea...

I've seen better. For example this sentence I'm typing right now was a more enjoyable read.

Well, it beats Cheeze's idea at an essay any day. There is a difference between posting on the forum with punctuation than without, it can somewhat prove how mature you can be.

I don't really like looking at shortcut chat anymore, except in gaming.

Yea it was the same here but they would pass classes easily when I knew they were not that smart to begin with.

High school football does not require that much Intelligence other than memorization which is pounded into you daily to prep for the next game. The position that would require the most intelligence for high school would be for a quarter back but even then its not much more than any other just more decisions to be made. With what you are describing is the job of the offesive and defensive coordinators. College and pro football is a much different situation.

Well, in U/C and NFL, you need to be more coordinated as a team, since its a large scale and a lot more is on the line. Also, decision making itself involves intelligence, unless you want to resort to trial and error for 4 downs.

Then again, Grades don't determine how smart you are. You could get 90s and not know ****, then you got 60s but you knew what you were doing, just not as well as you hoped. The purpose of grades is that you do the work, then hand it in, since its been proven that learning is hands-on. The people who get 40s and **** don't do anything. They just do what they think is right, then they recieve something from last class and try to do it, they don't get it because they were out doing something they shouldn't have.

decision making in high football is nothing more than common sense -- as far as players go.

i ****ing agree. Is it just me or is it the smarter some one is the less common sense they have? My high school is like that :(

It tends to be that way -- more so with women I have noticed. Not being sexist but it just seems that way. Most book smart girls I meet do not have common sense. Anyone else agree with me on that?

I would have to disagree on that, because it depends on the lifestyle of the person and the chances to use common sense they get. Take bullying for instance, when being bullied especially, the smater kids seem to not be able to handle the situation, even though they themsleves think they are smarter than the bully. What do they do? They try to stand up to the guy, but they don't realize just how powerful the kid is. And ignoring is often impossible, especially when they get physical.

As for lifestyle, there is a difference between having common sense on say, a test, then having common sense when talking with people. I myself have more common sense doing technical things like gaming or programming, and not as often with more advanced social queues.

Cheeze there's no way that would even merit an F. The teacher will make you rewrite it, son.

Even then, the teacher should just accept it for no marks.
