rally points do give u apm. actually hotkeying and spamming through your building gives u apm too as far as i know. what people dont know is that most apm recorders dont record the first 1min 30sec's of game play^^

Wow... I just looked at one of my better replays, and I avaraged 103 APM.

How does that happen? I can't imagine getting much higher then that. Twenty more is two clicks a second. I can see that being done during battles.... but unless someone is spamming relay points constiantly, how can someone get like 312 apm?

Edit: Figured out why mine was so high. I'm obsessive about constiantly pressing ctrl+1/2/3/4/5 with my command groups. Do it dozens of times in a row. Anyone else do this?

YES

I do that in D2 too, and I run out of pots

But I think my apm gets higher because I never stop clicking unless I have to stretch my fingers.. I just keep on doing a + left click or right click all the time...

They could also be shift+rallying, but i doubt it.

very unlikely as no one in their right mind would assign 40 rallies to a barracks unit in the same spot (check the replays in their perspective).

my apm is around 105 ... i think its pretty good...
But actually i dont care about my apm .. cuz in game i cant see it and i dont think about it in game... when i have an apm around 50 i still dont care...

progamer have i great apm cuz off mass clicks ... so i dont mess with them
my apm is high cuz of micro not cuz of abuse
