I remember when everyone was a happy mod. And torrid was a moderator. The semi-oldies were great and hilarious.

Then we had the hacking incident.

Rest assured, the new mods outnumber the users 10 to 1, so we can have some fun at least. *sarcasm*

Personally, IDefy, I think you should be promoted.....

I dunno, being a mod sounds like work and I'm just lazy...though I suppose if it was offered to me I might take it...or maybe not....

I already have the position of being a moderator at a few SC Related sites; neither of them are as large scale as this site, though.

Being a Mod is alright; but theres a good chance that youll have more enemies than the usual person (Unless your a jackass).

After I realized that the man with the picture of the sleezy anime girl was a moderator, I almost had a seizure. From laughing.

Jason, I support free sexuality.

Tip to becoming a moderator #147: Don't publicly state that you are a lazy person.

Maybe, I'm the only top 25 poster who is not a mod or elder. I'm not the only one who deserves a spot though. There are atleast a handful of other qualified users.

I would just liek the power to close / move threads + color tag. That's pretty much it.....And the power to ban/silence people, like Spirit-Reaver and Souless.

Nope, but with the warning system we can technically ban.

If there needs another moderator, I'd let IDefy take my Chit-Chat spot.

Take it from someone who was a moderator.

It's nice at first, you get a certain amount of respect, or atleast you think you do...but sooner or later you realize you have shit in your life to do blah blah blah, and it's just a burdon.

Also, being able to view the staff is nice, which is why if you mod long enough and do enough for the forum, when you resign, they will still give you access to it, and you don't have to worry about modding
