Who wouldn't want the useless features such as a cool badge, a slightly larger avatar, a profile picture(lol battleforumsspace.com), custom title(way to express yourself in so very, simple terms), a 5000 message inbox because people like me get maybe 1-2 every few months, access to a vip forum(circle jerk at 8 guys), and deleting your own posts because a simple edit wouldn't cut it. For anyone that actually buys it, you could've spent it on a few rounds to off yourself because you care so much about a site that has no real purpose other than a few new contests and news that can be found off of blizzards main site.

The only reason owners resort to this is either they want to get profit, or they care for thier board but need the money to maintain this domain. Somethingawful does it, and many members daily dont mind pooling Lowtax a few bucks to keep the forum running.

The Ancient status was sacked to make room for premium member access. If you were an ancient or did contributions to the forum that Kinkarso KNOWS about, then you got it without paying a dime.

Then again, being a staff member gets you half of those. Moderators have the power to delete posts and get more messages in thier box. Plus thier user name appears different. Admin basically cheats the system. For instance, although I have less avy size (mine is 150x150), I get PM space that I dont even need (up to 65535). Both permissions can delete ANY post.

Besides force mods to change thier PWs every 30 days. That was a pretty funny accomplishment with itself.

Then again, you were mod before Max or Kinkarso were the owners.
