Open MH go to edit config and you will find out or i will tell you
search for this line :
Quest Item Colour: -1
just add this line below :
Item Colours[Ear]: -1,-2
so it will look like this:
Quest Item Colour: -1
Item Colours[Ear]: -1,-2
and you will not see ears an ground

hi.
i have a question for PyroKid

you said
One of the packets tells the client what a player is wearing. Without this packet all players would look naked
so it could be possible to see other players' equip also in the chat?

technically yes
but think of it this way
how would you see it?
you could probably have an external program give an output in text (or graphically if u really wanted) but i think that'd be the extent of it

correct if im wrong ppl

even if you did get it to output what they are wearing in chat it probably wouldn't tell you much. i think it would only tell you the graphical image of what you are wearing, not any stats. if it did send the stats then the servers would lag even more than they do already.

not tryin to argue w/ ne one here...i just got to make a point,

theres got to be some way that mh is bein seen, or soemthing else strange is goin on cause when i first started usin MH again, i began getting tagged, and i would avoid scrolling...i dunno how to do the socket protection so im good there...and u said urself that lookin at ppl's stuff is suppose to be undetectable...so i dunno then

Maphack IS detectable

i got an account deleted for maphacking, and i got the info straight from blizzard on how maphack is detected.
U know when u go to login to Bnet, it sits for a second on "checking versions"? At that time, it is checking the size of a few D2 game files. When maphack is activated, it alters these game files to allow the new features, making the files slightly larger. If the files are detected as "altered", Bnet is notified. That is how maphack is detected. Knowing that, detection can be avoided if you unload maphack each time before you quit the game or log out.
(and I didn't even need to give an example of complex programming that most others probably dont understand...unlike Mr. "Maphack cant be detected" )
