This is a way too common thing for BF admins. I'll repeat myself, there's no need to have admin title to contribute in a significant manner. It's just not necessary or justified.

Who?

Btw I'm blackwing renzo.
who was blackwing? Thats sounds familiar but I can't put a face to it.

Was he the guy that was in the one about child molestation then had to relocate and change his name so he can rent an icecream truck and sell candyed cones to the children in swimsuits on those hot august days?

He was a cool dood.

*grumble*

I there weren't any monthly costs to it, I would buy this place myself. Then ban everybody except cheese. XD

But seriously, I would buy it. Maybe hire a guy to maintain the content for a bit, then send out a newsletter and get 70.000 hits on the adverts. Hehe. Seriously, content is the key to succes.

Ok, Aurora, you know when it turns to trolling.

And you have no idea what my businesses are and how I maintain them. I took down one site advertiser and now you say another one pops up; the best way for you to contribute right now is to report the case like all other members do instead of riding my ass about it.

Alright Tyrael, but you could have at least warned me. Giving me an infraction... Tsk tsk. Have all of the bad ass people here become soft while I was away? :p

But now seriously. As for me modding again: if nobody wants me to continue working on my previous projects, then what's the point? This forum has plenty of globals for the current amount of activity. That was one of the reasons I asked for admin. Those have a way different role then globals, AND it gives one the tools needed to create new pages, etc. I would do it, but only if my projects are the focuss of my work. If not, then I don't even want the position anymore. Just paint me yellow in that case, or whatever. Staff chooses.

I wouldn't warn someone who was an admin, I would assume they would know the rules...

Only difference between Admin and Global in your case is that an admin can create, rename, move, delete subforums, which is a bulk task that you could've asked kinkarso to do. Other than I don't see anything, unless I'm mistaken.

You are. The acces to vbadvanced cmps and the new upload/download modules was restricted to admin level. I was creating a huge database with all the info and downloads on all big and upcoming games from Blizzard. Most of it is still on my pc, and almost all new pages are already there. There is just no direct link from the main site yet. And then I didn't even mention the new news feeds to the front page yet, or the improved forum RSS feed. Seriously, I was doing a lot more then just moving forums around and banning spammers. The thing is, nobody can see it yet. I can use the global admin account, but not without asking permission first. (to whoever that might be)

There were just some problems with it. Kinkarso wanted to keep the original front page, not the vba version. That required me to work around a lot of things, which costed a huge amount of time. Then I had to leave. I already warned several times that I might suddenly leave in multiple threads. During my absence I still had contact with Joe and Donny, and told them my life was to busy to do a lot of work for BF. They chose not to tell everybody, but instead just removed me from the staff. It's not my fault nobody was properly informed. I worked "behind the screens" anyway after getting admin rights. That means less posting on the forum. What did you guys want me to do? Make an announcement where I told everybody how fucked up my life was and that I had less time for the forum because of that? I do not think so.
