The problem is, he assumes too fast. And doesn't look at the big picture at times.

And you shouldnt have mentioned D/D Online to him. He actually got that board going, till it suffered the fate of CS cause of inactivity. He blamed it on the fact he was kicked off staff and therefore didn't have the permissions to manage it properly.

I was close to generating enough content to get it going but problems arouse with the STAFF.

Hellgate: London collapsed due to mis-management and incompetent staff in charge.

D&D Online just sucked.

Guild Wars, from what I've seen? Probably awful staff.

C&C, the admin pulled the plug on it before it had a chance to succeed.

D&D (the actual game), died when I left. The admin didn't have anyone to take over, apparently and just killed it with C&C.

Counter-Strike: Bad game, bad staff in charge.

Constantly we've put awful people in charge of sections. People with no business being in charge of anything: inactive, apathetic fools.

Just recently Max killed a section that had potential: The House of Cards. Given proper management that could've gone somewhere. But it didn't.

Counter-Strike: Better game than you'll ever know, and I was in charge, we did more than you'll ever realize. Though since we didn't have the auto-pilot-do-nothing playerbase we failed.

Weren't you in charge of a section or was it beccause D&D "just sucked"?

Moderating wasn't a problem, it's getting people to join and post.

And the people who are supposed to make sure that happens are the moderators.

I've moderated many sections, and did a considerable amount for those forums.

The SC2 section is ailing, because we left Renzo in charge of it and he's doing nothing.

Some things really don't convert well from RL to PC. That MtG group we had going was pretty badass, and I was working my tail off to make that thing sing, but as always the circumstances of my life decided to deny me the ability to input the effort required to run a forum.

Honestly though, it probably wouldn't have gone anywhere wonderful. The biggest funfactor for TcG's is being with your friends doing it. There's so much more action to it than just "click click click click HAHA INFINITEMANAFIREBALL!!!"

And that YuGiOh emulator was lame...I never even finished building my deck.

There wasn't all that much enthusiasm for HoC. We had maybe 6 people who were active MtG players in the beginning, and when I suddenly became limited in my online time again I stopped hearing about it at all.

For the first couple weeks after HoC opened, it was pretty hot...but then it kinda went the way of the Quetzalcoatlus.

We should set up a section for flagship studios products. Both of their game currently being made look good, and we should definitely give hellgate a proper try this time.

Don't you guys remember how successful BFH was when he went off and made his own forum?
That was because he put his faith in a very "reliable" person, Clearcast. He was the one who didn't do any work.

Give it time. I'm telling you, BF will be back on its feet soon. That's for sure.

Ok, and what ideas did you come up with? And by the way, causing the admins to create a system that makes us change our passwords every 120 days doesn't count.

Yes, and choosing an inactive person to replace you when you retire doesn't count.

Nor does giving out your password.

In the past. But ever since BF has gone down this path, things have been thrown into question.

As for Magical Trevor, he is just proving what BF Staff was always good at: *****ing and whining and not doing action. Both in the way how he is saying it and what he is saying. This is why BF has always been in this slump in the first place.

Too many people thinking they can change things, but they just ***** and whine about it instead. I always thought we were better at that than anything else.

How do you think Souless got permabanned? He was told fairly by Max to stop what he was doing, and Souless just *****ed and spat in the face of authority, he got what was coming at that moment. It even happened when he refused to change his sig image - for in the timeframe he was working up his *****fest to Vadriel, he could have done a 2 second change.
