That is really lame, I assumed it still gave you the resists because they were part of the rune word. Oh well, it's still a very nice poor man's alternative to HoTO with the skills, FCR, vita bonus, and that beautiful FHR

I think spirit long sword (55str req, max 4 sockets) and spirit pally shield (lvl26 akaran targe, 44str req) makes for excellent low-level gear for a start-up hammerdin.

+4 skills, 50%-70%fcr, 110%fhr, +44vit, 178-224mana, 35%res (C,L,P). pretty good for just level 26 hammerdin.

if you had 2 you would only get one set of resistances, but the skills and fcr would be really nice
