Is it possible to get to lv 80 in 3 days for a Necro??

My strategy:


Play a1, cold plains -> stony -> dark wood -> black marsh depending on lvl until you're lvl 15 in an 8 players game.
Then do exp in act2 till you get lvl 20, and then cows(one of your mates with a javazon does the killing for you) till lvl 25. You get around 2 lvl ups each cowrun. Takes me 10 minutes for lvl 20-25, much faster than travi and bloodruns
Then baalrun normal from lvl 25 to 45-50. It goes much faster if you have a high lvl mate to help you and your baal party.
Then you do nightmare baalruns till lvl 60 and then hell baalrun
Takes about 1 day of playing (not including late night playing)

umm, if no one noticed they DID have a topic on it on diabloii.net, lol, a lvl 99 in 1 day, back that was back on good old 1.09. All he did was get rushed, and do Bloody Foothill runs all day. (he was the top on the ladder, lol, and everyone was like "Hacker!")

But now? It is most definetly possible. and probably with EASE.

Does any one remember the trick to get past the ancients without actually killing them. Before I quit I used to do it all the time.....I think what you do is make the game with a char that needs the quest then wait for someone else who needs it, then leave and bring back the character that needs to do it, can be ANY level, stay in A5 till they kill ancients and viola!

I think that is how its done....I don't really remeber. Rushing is easy and if you set a day aside to do nothing but play diablo then it is very possible. I read somewhere else that if you need a character that is not expantion then just make a normal Diablo 2 char, get a rush then do cows. After you get to to lvl you want make it expantion character and boom! I don't know if that works though.

no, what you do is you make a baal game, hopefully someone that needs the quest will join, have people kill baal (including the person that also needs the quest) and wha-la!

I timed this just the other day. Made a sorc, did tristram runs for 2 hours got to lvl 16.

Did tomb runs for four more levels for about 3 hours. (Hard to get full game!)

At level 20 I did trav runs for an hour till level 25.

Got a rush to baal and baaled for 2 hours to get to lvl 48.

Went to nightmare and got a rush...gained 3 levels helping out....1 hour

Did baal till my current level, 71 for about 4 hours.

Total time: 12 hours
Ending Level: 71

Very easy, the only requirement is that you have someone who can rush you and try to join nothing but full games. Join a run...if its not full leave and try another. Remeber! You will level faster with a full game.

Did trist till 15, 1 game of tombs with a high sorc, 2 cow runs. And I was set.
