D1 is definitely an awesome game, it just sort of sucks now b/c of all the hacking. I still play it legit , but its hard to find other people online who do. it obviously is a wicked game or so many people wouldnt have bought D2 so quick

IMO: D1 is cool for about 15 minutes. Because you will dupe/hack
if you dont hack its good to play through the game once. (maybe once with each char. if your easily amused)

Diablo is good for what it was when it came out.. but it can't compare to Diablo 2. Once you get used to D2 you won't be able to go back.. I couldn't anyways.
