Is diablo any fun...

is diablo (1) any fun iv played 2 and lod and their a blast but is diablo 1 any good... my friend said it sux all u do is ur in a building and u keep moveing lower and lower each lvl... that wut friend told me...

i wona know form u gys if its fun or not tho (fun as in... is it worth buying)

Yes, all you do is do useless quests, keep going down the dungeon until you reach lvl 15. (Hell - where you kill Diablo) If you're familiar with TSearch or some memory editing, you can easily can get to lvl 50(which is maximum for D1) and can gold dupe. It's pretty boring in my opinion, but if you wanna findout the story line, then I guess it's worth it.
But don't buy it, just borrow the CD from someone you know.
It's really waste of $

Oh yea, and by the way, you can't run. Only walk.
So you have to have some patient w/ you if you're gonna play.

Ya Diablo1 really sucks..your friend is right...all you do is go down a labyrinth until you reach diablo in hell...The cutscenes are still great but you cannot really see them(i found there really dark) Diablo 2 is so much better with the running, items and skills

In diablo1 everyone can get the same skills...but in diablo 2 as you know the classes have different unique skills..

And another thing, In diablo the only classes are rougue, warrior, sorcerress
Compared to diablo 2 lod, Diablo 1 is worthless..

The only good thing about Diablo 1 is that the saving is much easier... when you press save it saves were ure at and then you keep on playing. When you die you don't have to go to your body all u have to do is load game and you will be found at the place were you saved it...

I would say thats the only good thing

And something thats pretty dumb is that the bow and arrows dont nees arrows! lol Im glad the blizzard people fixed that for diablo 2 and lod....So just stick with diablo 2 and lod...much bettter than 1

After playing Diablo 2, it's really difficult for me to play the first one again.

D2 has so many improvements that make the first game obsolite [sp?].

not true, the warrior and the rouge cannot get enough magic to use most of the skills, only the mage. Diablo 1 is a great game. I dont care what anyone says. Diablo 1 was my starting game for me becomming what i am today :rolleyes

Nevertheless, D1 is cool. I played it like forever and a day and it is still fun. The only problem is that it is quite hard to find legit players there. But well...still a hot game for singleplayer

well summit, playing legit in single player is fun, if you want to go legit, you shouldnt play on Multi, you dont get all the quests

man, d1 is so easy, a level 1 can be just as good as a levfel 50.
just dupe everything like syrgens (think thats what they are called) and ur stats boom
and sorc is best in d1, his mana and mana shield kicks ass in pvp
rouge sucks, better to use a warrior with a bow than a rouge
i like the fact aout wirt grizwald and the items like wf in d1
