Dear god, if you beleive that I got a small island for sale.

No offense, but use your head. How could you get any skill to lvl 75 legitly. Do the math 20 from maxing the skill, a torch is +2, if you have all gear +4 to skills and have a full invintory of + skill charms you would still be short.

Anyways everyone knows the best PvP character is a hell bovine in drag ... duh!

Highest level Holy Fire you can get is 44, from Hand of Justice, and 2 Dragons. No, it's not that great.

There is no best dueling character, so I suggest that you and everyone else stop searching for one.

Forgot about all the other + skills you can have with charms and gear. Anyway you look at it though you CAN'T have a lvl 75 skill.

+skill has no effect on auras granted by items.

I was not talking about just a skill granted from a item.
I'm just stating that a character maxing out holy fire Aura or whatever,torch and max possible +skills from gear and ect you still cant get to lvl 75 for any such skill. It is impossible. None of the skills are able to get even close to 75. Thats 55 points past maxing out a skill.

yeah, but you can still have massive +skills to holy fire then you can use the dragons and hoj. It wouldn't be having level 75 holy fire but it would have the same effect. The original level 55 aura + the auras from items would = 75+

WOW! You guys got this all wrong :rollie .

- You can't stack the same aura. So forget all about adding Hand of Justice (lvl 16) + 2x Dragon (2x lvl 14) for a lvl 44 holy fire. Not happening. Does your hammerdin's merc use Pride to add ridiculous concentration to your hammers? You wish.

- "When equipped" does not equal "+ to skills". You're a Paladin. Even if you only used Hand of Justice, it will not add 16 pts to your maxed out holy fire skill. Your 20 hard pts trump the aura, making it useless. Runewords like these are for characters that do not possess the skill.

- The max lvl holy fire a Paladin can achieve is lvl 51. Here's how I see it...
helm = +3 offensive auras circlet
ammy = +3 offensive auras
armor = any +2 skills armor (Enigma, CoH, Principle)
wep = +6 Kinemil's Awl giant sword (2-handed)
shield = none cuz sword is 2-handed
gloves = any cuz no pts can be added here
boots = any cuz no pts can be added here
ring 1 = +1 (SoJ or BK)
ring 2 = +1 (SoJ or BK)
belt = +1 Arach Mesh
torch = +3 pally skills
anni = +1 all skills
skillers = +9 (9x +1 offensive gc's)
wep switch = +1 all skills Call to Arms' Battle Command skill
skill points = +20 hard pts in the skill

Total = lvl 51 holy fire skill

*If Kinemil's Awl sucks too much for you, then use Hoto + Hoz or Spirit and have a lvl 50 holy fire.

No chance of lvl 75. Either way, the skill still sucks.

ggnore? :umm

I'd like to make some corrections.

Items that grant the same aura will stack levels. This does not mean your own skill by the way. The Holy Fire granted by items will not stack with your own active aura. The lower level one will be canceled. It's either aura-stacking with items and no skill points, or only skill points. Anything else would be a waste.

Try testing that with Dream if you want clearer results. Wearing a second one increases your lightning damage dramatically.

For a non-Pally, yes that's true. The "Aura Stack Glitch" still currently works :-/ . However, we are discussing the possibility of an auradin achieving a lvl 75 holy fire. In that regard, my statements were accurate. Therefore, while you only made one "correction", it was actually just an off-topic clarification. Thanks for the help. :grunt

Actually, Darth, magefist adds +1 fire skills. Which means any skill that uses fire. INCLUDING holy fire. So it WOULD add +1 to holy fire, and add to damage.

Good call, BFH... we're now at lvl 52 holy fire. FTW? More like FTL, right? :( I hope no one is actually doing this.

when u use the hoj and dragons you can have up to 70+ damage wise but not level wise...it won't read "Level 70 Holy Fire" it will have level 52 but the damage from the dragons and hoj will make the damage seem as though its 70. Its like having 4 seperate auras that focus the same attack.

OMG... have we not established that on a Paladin these runewords will not work??? The level shown remains the same, AS WELL AS THE DMG... similar to why hammerdins don't use Pride mercs. :hbut
