They are 2 different types of build. A player can like one, or the other. Or both.

It's a question of taste. They're called *alternatives*.

And I like both a Firesorc and Kao's Coldsorc, even if a Coldsorc can be built in some different ways.

Blizzard!! Lvl 32 Blizzard with 2 maxed synergies does 4250-4457 dmg per Second for 4 seconds.

It doesn't require much tweaking ( ITS GODLY IF IT DOES)and it kills Mephisto than FO. You don't need proper aiming technique. Just Cast and dodge. You can even do the Moat trick with this one.

With Kao's gear as suggested, you'd be able to do faster killing with Blizzard.

Here are my Sorc's Stats in Ladder UsWest:
20 Blizzard
20 Ice Blast
20 Glacial Spike
8 Ice Blast
10 Cold Master
10 Warmth
1 point prequisite (including Ene shield, tele etc).


My Ladder (lvl 90) Sorc is pretty almost tweaked. She uses::

1 Cold Skill Charm.

She has 10/75/75/10 Res in Hell + lvl 32 Blizzard + 463% Mf (More than enough needed).

Blizzard does 4.2K- 4.4K Dmg. I have -140% Cold Pierce. On Left Click , I use Iceblast that does 1.9 to 2K Cold dmg and freezes for 28 seconds.

Kills Mephisto in 3-4 Blizzard. Kills everything that isn't cold immune in Hell. And may I say its DAMN fast killer in hell?

Without static on mephisto (1 player), I kill him in 4-6 FO's, With Static, it takes 2-3 FO's, far faster than any firewall sorceress i've ever heard of.

Normal, nightmare or hell?

Usually sorc frozen orb makes it possible if hell.For any other lvl30 magic with 20 skills you cant kill so fast mephisto.Even if you have lvl20lighting or thunderstorm or whatever bonuses you will need 10-12 casts.
With fre wall,fireball or metero afain-10 but not less

What the? I never do runs below hell. Why? Experience and drops are much better. And if I can kill meph in 2 orbs, why bother running nm meph?
