I doubt this is fake, Blizzard seems to have a yearly mass account/cdkey ban for some reason. Mabye their power happy. A couple years ago before I started hacking I had 2 of my accounts banned for no reason. I think they just want to remind everyone that they can and will ban, even though I doubt it's easy for them to detect much anymore.
