I want to leave as well. Nothing to post in, maybe 5-10x a day if i'm lucky. If a few more respected members leave, I'm gone, and I won't just leave in an orderly fashion.

VizjereiMage, do you realise there are 2000+ pages of threads we still have to move? It will take some time to get it in order.

You, leave? I find that hard to believe..... *giggles*

VizjereiMage, the forums give me a return of nostalgia about the forums of yonder old. And if everyone like you leaves you just make it worse.

I haven't been coming here as much lately either, there aren't many good things to read/ post about. Do the spammers think it is fun, or do they think other people want their nonsense to take the place of what could have been a good conversation topic?

Peoples spamming ability has definetly improved. And who's encouraging them? I see plenty of mods spamming more than any noob would. Not regulary spam, but still spam.

If you were to make an announcement in the D2 sections with the biggest size font and glowing text saying that we can't dupe, they would still ask how to dupe.

x42, the mass amount of threads still out there needing moved has nothing to do with the major amount of spam posts/threads being created.

For crying out loud Viz, because of people spamming, you take the easy way out and let the rest of us handle it because you cant? Make a stand, moderate hard, or just visit different forums (Such as the SC Forums) that contain less spam.

Why leave over something that you can help fix? It's pretty immature to get shitty and leave a forum you've been at for almost a year because some friggin' newbies who spam and getting you pissed off? C'mon man, you're better than that.

Don't leave over this. Besides, you'll prolly end up back here like the rest of us.

Actually not too many people have come back. It's not just the spam, it's just boring. I'll just go to RE forums or maybe none at all.

Every day, more and more people are spamming.
True, and why dont we have more people like AxL that actually move, close, and split spammy threads? Maybe cuz we mostly go on seniority (sp?) compared to ability. (least that what it seems to me)

More and more people are ruining threads.
Look at answer for previous quote

More and more people are becoming Gaheadga w/o the humor.
Yes... but then again you could just add them t blocklist

I have spammed in the past.
So?

I may still let a few posts of spam slip out through my fingers.
Once again, 'So?'. As long as you get some good ones in there who cares if you have a couple of spam(ish) posts?

It used to be cool.
It still is.... kinda...

They are even making their own spam threads.
True...

With all of the current posters spamming ( at least a good majority of them), the new members see this and think it is ok, that it is acceptable, and they too begin to spam.
[cough]Enforcers![/cough] But on a serious note, I do know what your talkin about. Thats why I think the rules should be more.... insisted on?

What are your views on this matter?
Theyre'll at true... but i think you should stay.

Viz, I agree with you 100%. BF is starting to turn to shit. Even SkuZZ has acknowledged it. The mods aren't even doing their job anymore. I really wish you wouldn't have stopped being a mod. :/ O well.

judicators MUST come back. i nominate axl cuz he is the number one moderator that truely takes his job seriously.
I couldn't have said it better...

That's why I was asked to mod like 2 months after I became active?

I have read this thread carefully and have quit a number of sites because of the increasing spam problems. However, quitting is not the solution to the problems that BF is currently facing. In any case, spamming is a problem that is destined to grow and flourish as people thrive on the negitive responses they recieve. I was not here in the time of the Judicators and dont know of the great, now gone days. However, there is not a single spam free site with such a great variety like BF.
