bah "training" is for chumps. i say develop your own style and watch a gajillion replays and adapt them into your playing style.

Training doesn't even work. It's just a live form of a replay.

you guys are sooo wrong... ive never really recieved trainging but i know level 8 50% players who have turned to level 20 players at 80% from a little training.

you never talk to your oppnenents before? never recieved a helpful hint from them during or after a game? most of your warcraft discussion in these forums are a form of training you. the only difference is that all the players here have never achieved a level over their teens, so that is as far as they advance.

Repalys are good to an extent. I personaly have stopped watching replays. I found they got me on a good foundation, but now I jsut dont learn anyhting from it cause all the palyers do is the same. Taht is why i make my own strats and adapt to different situations in my own way. and if i lose, that is good, cause i learn for next time.

Actually partially i took the idea from you. Months ago you showed us a replay in which a good NE teaches you on some tips like 'attack a tower under construction with dryads, never attack from the lower side of a slope- lost Temple's entrance, to move wisp to lumber after finishing a building..' . This is not big knowedge but that sort of training is useful than realizing what to do after months -something that you could be told much earlier is better. You know you have to apply what you learn and obviously a lvl20 would know better than you (me in this case) and show me something i miss vs stronger players.Isnt that right?

The idea is that every top player can teach you so good that you can become VERY good with time but for $$$. Even Sk.Insomnia who is from my country wouldn't give free lessons. The guy who teaches me , also from here, I can call a friend, somebody who wants to make me as good as him for 000$
