I hate old metal.
what is your difference between old metal and classic rock?

Old metallica is some heavy shit, slayer was always good, and Judas Priests new CDs kicks ass, even the ones with Ripper owens. If you want good metal with good solos get a song called Painkiller, by priest. Great song.

Tantric really isnt metal, they are kinda like classic rock.

3rd strike is good rock.

Static: I hate old metal singers' voices..just the same as I hate most classic rock singers voices. I can stand a few songs by certain bands though. For example I hate GnR, but Paradise City is awesome. I hate Led Zeppelin, but I like Kashmir and the Immigrant song. See how that works?

If hair metal counts as classic rock, then I have a lot of suggestions:

Van Halen - Jump, Panama

Bon Jovie - She's A Little Runaway

Def Leppard - Animal, Hysteria, Photograph, Rocket, Pour Some Sugar On Me

Twisted Sister - I Wanna Rock, We're Not Gonna Take It

Whitesnake - Here I Go Again

Poison - (Forgot song names :X)

Stone Temple Pilots isn't really classic rock... but they're a really good band with a lot of good songs, namely Sex Type Thing, Days Of The Week, Sour Girl, Vasoline, Wicked Garden, Plush, and others.

The Doors - Break On Through, Light My Fire.

Most classic rock comes from the 60's and 70's.. stuff like Buddy Holly (Oh God >.<).

Edit:

Flock Of Seagulls has one really good song: I Ran (So Far Away).
