01. Do a Multiplayer-Install

if you lost your D2 REG ENTRIES edit the file d2path.reg

I have diablo2 installed already
i copyed the 2 files from CD to C;/programfiles/diablo2 folder
i have updated to 1.09d already
and testing now

Hmmm lol thats a little odd, you changed your patch.mpq i think or something you shouldn't off....dload the 1.09d patch from blizz's site and re-install the patch and give it another shot. If that doesn't work you might need to re-install the game which I don't think you can do if your cdrom is haggard. Um, if nothing else works, go buy a cdrom lol they are like $12.00. But don't know what else to tell yah.

Ok F this.
I uninstall D2, restart comp
now install again, get patch
if no work
than try no cd crack
lets hope this ****ing works.

good plan. when you uninstall you should remove all the files from your current d2 directory to decrease a chance of file conflict

if u have the legal version, meaning u bought it email blizzard and they wlill tell u how to fix it

honostly i think you just need to put the lod cd in and close that auto load windo and click on the diablo lod icon if there is 1 on your dest top or if not just go to c:/programfiles/diabloii
and try that
