Don't know why I clicked on this thread, let alone the WoW forums. I guess I'm bored. Anyway, I don't hate BFH and happen to agree with him on this point.
Single player Blizzard games tend to have extremely shitty cliche stories. The reason they sell is for the addiction rate and the multi-player value. But let's face it: doing anything with people you like is fun, so why wouldn't it be true with Blizz games? From my personal experience the only thing fun about D2 is the people that I played with. Maybe it's different for people who actually like to brag about being good at a game...but I think we can file those people under "preteens" and "retards".
