Set your resolution to 1024*768, the crosshairs become very small, and in my opinion easier to place directly on the head. Don't aim for the chest, because you'll hit the chest. If you fire in bursts, the first four bullets are going to be relatively accurate. The key is after shooting about four - six bullets, let your crosshairs "calm down" or switch to "q" (which by default switches to the previous weapon) which will reset the crosshairs to their original size. I'm sure you've noticed by now the more you hold down mouse1 the more the gun is going to spray out of control. How to become better at this you ask? Play maps such as aim_ak_colt or aim_map. Or in a private game, create a spray logo of a Terrorist/Counter-Terrorist, spray it on the wall and start shooting at it trying different variations (crouching, strafing, etc.) and look back at the wall seeing where the bullets end up.
