How to aim?

Well, I finally got off my ass and got DSL and CS so I'm wondering if you guys have any useful tips on shooting

Point the gun at the bad guy, and shoot.

Oh, try crouching or walking, does wonders for your aim, hence the crosshairs tell it all.

when aiming for HS with ak i like to use a 1-4 bullet burst

It depends on what gun you have:
AK-47: 1-3 shot burst aim at chest or, peferably the neck.

Mp5 navy: Spray and pray around the neck, for long range 4-7 shot bursts.

M4A1: 2-4 shot burst around the neck area, for close combat spray and pray at chest.

AWP: Anywhere exept legs will give you a kill.

Scout: Strafe like hell and aim at the neck, when standstill alwasy at head.

Aug a.k.a. for nubs the bullpup: This has very high recoil, 2 shot burst for long range, you shoot faster non zoomed.

Famas a.k.a. for nubs Clarion: the burst is your best friend aim for head and strafe.

Galil a.k.a. for nubs defender: 3 shot around the head, not neck but, the head will kill.

Deagle: The most accurate pistol while running aim at there chest.

heres another little tip with the awp:

make sure that you switch to your sidearm (secondary weapon for silly people, pistol for stupid people) and then make sure your quick switch is working. its by default "q" that way, when you are using your awp, you can zoom in, fire, then quick switch your weapons so that 1: you can fire afterwards if you miss or only hit them in the leg 2: it gets you out of zoom really quick. im not that good at giving out tutorials, so if anyone else understands what the hell i just said (its almost 3 here...) and wants to collaborate on that, be my guest

You should see cl_dynamiccrosshair 1
TYPE -> cl_dynamiccrosshair 0

if u got an AK or an Colt make this:

if u aim at any enemy´s head push the mouse1 button 1-4 times but like klick klick klick klick watch out that it dont goes like a sustained fire.it must be continouisly bursts uf u learned it u will be godly player

If you end up sprayin someone with a ak or m4a1, and are 8 feet away or so, move your crosshair to there feet and hold it there, the bullets will always go higher so your cluster should be at there chest area.

Well, I'm looking for more of a headshot type of thing. I know how to with the colt but you both have to be lined up and standing up within 10 feet of eachother and you just spray with silencer and the recoil gives a pimpin HS

Rule of thumb, never spray and pray.
Rule of thumb #2, aim for the head.

That's how I got into cal-im.

I dont understand i guess. To get a headshot, i aim at the head and shoot. I dont let recoil do anything, b/c that requires more bullets. So on the first shot i put it on there head and shoot.. *shrugs*

how would i go about doin that? or seein if im good enough to play in a league of sorts... i might not be good enough... but if i could make money off cs.. id like to find out.

u know there is a pretty lil magic button called "edit" that avoids double posting and it will create less warning points.

~Short bursts~
~Learn your radar and sound
~Complete stops before shooting~

Whenever I shoot, I try to be crouched as much as possible, and always burst fire a little bit below or above the head. I use M4 frequently, and this works wonders.
