I payed about 400 for mine, but most people would have spent around 600-800...I get kind of a discount.

And the sig limit is 500x200, you have 24 hours.

The one I'm using right now was free. I've been leeching computer parts from various places to build it. It's not top of the line, but it works.

$2500 for everything BUT printer& monitor...... :( verry bad deal indeed

i built my own computer. it was only $800 and some change and it has decent specs

280 gigs of storage (240 in raid-0)
2.8 ghz p4 with HT (800 fsb)
Asus p4p800 delux mobo
500 watt power supply
24x cdburner (ripped from old computer)
$100 acrylic case (yes its clear... pwned)
$24 for fans (red LED and 2 cold cathods)
i got the memory for free for my b-day.... but i got 1 gig corsair memory (BRANDED IS BETTER)

OS: FREE** OMG I STEAL!!
speakers: b-day
monitor: 15 LCD ($300) got it about 3 years ago... my dad bought it so i didnt pay

so yeah all in all i only spent about $800... but total in parts my computer is probably worth over $1400 easily

next upgrade: 2*10k rpm raptors & watercooling

oh yeah and im building a custom case too =P

Lmao...some of you guys got really bad deals....the one I am using for $400. With printer and scanner. Other for $800, built it my self. Edit specs later.

Well anyway...

Pentuim 3 600 mhz
Nvida TNT2 32 mb AGP 2X
Sound Blaster Live
256 mb of ram
20 gb maxwell HD


yeah thats about all you really need to know.


EDIT: Oh yeah it cost like 200 dollars for my uncle to build it.

ppl commonly go about overclocking their cpus by changing the fsb multiplier ratio. This can be done in 2 ways:
1) Newer computers: software Bios
2) My old 486dx2: manual bios setting change through playing with the jumpers.

You've got a pentium 3, pentium 3 processors are worthless these days, so I don't see why you shouldn't overclock (don't go overboard though, i'd overclock to around 700-800 only). But IF you do, don't forget to get urself a nice cooling system first.

methinks I'll start writing up a guide to overclocking for this forum...
