We've had hacks and screwups thrown at us and it still lasts.

I can't predict when, but I hope it lasts after I leave for good for some time.

Anyway, I think this place won't last. Chit-Chat's become so repulsive I can only stand being here for about half a minute. All the threads are stale. I'm guessing 1-2 years left until it's abandoned.

BF may not die, but the warcraft forums are already heading there. only one person si to blame for that, and it isn't really Forged. its you.

The basic rule of thumb I was always told was...
Most sites die within the first 6 months.
If they make it past 6 months and are still active, it's amazing.
If they make it to a year old, it's a miracle.

Considering the hacking, the Summitizing, and the ChrisUK downtime....
You are witnessing and participating in something well past unbelievable.

As for my life span being in question, don't worry, it will take something beyond natural causes to do me in.
Also, once we get past a few more minor hurdles I'm going to set up a will of sorts just in case so my wife can pass the place on to coRtALoS if something should happen.

I'd hate to go through eternity thinking that I convince Chris to dig the place out of the cyber garbage can just to have it get buried with me.
