How does grief work???

COTA-GoD, where did you get that info? Grief's +damage works with Smite even now. Go test it out. If any of you play on West NL, you can come witness it for yourselves.

Last Wish is a joke compared to Grief. I lose about 40% of my damage if I switch to Last Wish. It's a good choice for Ubers, but that's about it.

I am well aware of what a V/T is, and I've even made two in the past. He stated that his Smite damage was 3.5K and in the same sentence he added the comment about synergies, directly relating the two. If he were indeed referring to FoH, then it would be a case of misplaced modifiers. Then again, he didn't even say a thing about FoH. Learn your English before you correct me, dumbass.

k well...i don't have holy shield maxed and i still do a ton of smite damage compared to alot of people.

3.5K is a lot even for someone who's already maxed out on Smite, Holy Shield, and Fanaticism. 3.5K is your maximum damage, right? By any chance are you using a shield with inconsistent damage such as vortex or kurast shield? That would explain the high maximum damage.

Grief's damage shows absolutely nothing on the attribute window, but the damage is there alright. If you wish, I can calculate your actual Smite damage for you. Just tell me your: Fanaticism level, Smite level, Holy Shield level, damage +X, shield type, strength, off-weapon enhanced damage.

Your actual Smite damage should be 8784 - 8830, and the damage that is displayed should be 2985 - 3032. I have no idea how you saw 3.5K.
