How do you get your hero levels to like 5 or 6

Crack Ghouls, alas, don't work as well as they used to, and are not recommended in TFT unless you're going up against another Undead. In RoC though, you can still get away with using them, but you really have to mix in something else. Admittedly, this did screw up my playing for a while, as I was too used to Triple Hero/Crack Ghouls, but I've learned to adapt.

if an opponent is going mass fiends, crack ghouls still work. I have noticed fiends are massed, but against undead, ghouls will win.

And it is always nice to bring along a couple ghouls to distract the meele from the fiends fireing in the back.
