How do i make mods?

The mods that are made will only work with non 1.10 SC.
If you don't have that, find someone who DOES have 1.09, 1.08, etc, then rename your SC folder. Make another folder named Starcraft. Put your downgraded SC version in there. But good luck finding one, I was just lucky that my brother didn't egt the 1-1 patch.
And you DON'T use them on B.Net, that's all. Unless it's a 1-1 compatible, in which case, if you and the other players have it, it'll work. If they DON'T have it, then it'll crashthem all when certain things happen i.e. my rapid-laser-marine killed a firebat, and they crashed.

Okay, I went to some sites and got some turitols. I downloaded Arensal III, MPQ Draft, MPQ Compacter, WinMPQ. I changed some crap and than fed the file through the compacter, ran it on WinMPQ, and made it an .exe file. However, nothing changes! HELP!
